Use of sauna

For thousands of years steam baths have been used to relax and invigorate the human body.

This ancient method of health care relaxes the skin and internal organs, stimulating the circulation of the blood vessels and the body’s metabolism.

Apart from giving a great feeling of well being, it can aid the reduction of various toxins accumulated in the body and help with general health care. The steam bath has many beneficial effects by opening the pores flushing out impurities and leaving the skin clean and refreshed, and because of the increased metabolic rate and the energy required for perspiring, extra calories can be burnt off.

It is widely acknowledged over the years that a steam sauna is especially helpful with aiding such ailments as colds, rheumatism, arthritis, acne and various skin complaints, whilst also eliminating fatigue and aiding sleep.
